Edwin F. Williams, III, M.D., FACS, is a member of the fellowship program of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS). The AAFPRS fellowship requires a year of specialized facial plastic surgery training under the guidance of an AAFPRS surgeon. Dr. Williams has participated as a fellowship director in the program since 1999 and has fostered the surgical expertise of 9 facial plastic and reconstructive surgeons.
Dr. Williams is certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the American Board of Otolaryngology and he is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Williams is a Diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiners, a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society, he is a Fellow of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery.
With his active involvement in Continuing Medical Education, Dr. Williams has qualified for the American Medical Association Physician Recognition Award.
