Dr. Alain Polynice in Belt Lipectomy on October 5th
Question: I had the lap band done last year and I have lost close to 100 pounds. I think I look good except I have a lot of extra skin that just does not seem like it will go away on its own. Is this the sort of thing that a belt lipectomy fixes? Answer: Absolutely. A belt lipectomy is ideal for patients who have lost a significant amount of weight after gastric bypass. It addresses the tummy, thighs and buttocks all at once.

Dr. Alain Polynice in Belt Lipectomy, Body Lift on October 4th
Question: Is a belt lipectomy the same thing as a body lift? Answer: A belt lipectomy does involve removing excess skin and fat along the tummy, thighs and buttocks. A body lift does the same thing but a body lift also involves lifting and elevating the thighs much more than a simple belt lipectomy.
