Question: What are some ways to stimulate the function of the liver to push more toxins out of my body? Answer:
I recommend using targeted products to help phase I and phase II liver detoxification enzymes. The phase I enzymes help break down the toxins but the phase II enzymes actually help solubilize the toxins and remove them from the body. So you really need something to support both phases of liver detoxification. Things such as Curcumin, Acetylcysteine, MSM, watercress, green tea, etc., can be some of the ingredients that are helpful during a liver detoxification. The best program is typically a 28-day program eating a very pure diet along with products to help support liver detoxification enzymes and doing these together usually yields the best results. Question: In what way can sitting in a sweat lodge help repair my damaged skin? Answer:
I have not heard of heavy sweating in a sweat lodge to be helpful for damaged skin and it can be a little bit risky unless you are doing it with someone experienced and supervising you in the process. However, heavy sweating can be very beneficial for detoxification as skin is one of our four major organs of detoxification and the benefits from that can be helpful to your health as a whole. Question: Does the detoxification regimen involve hydro colonics? Answer:
No, detoxification is really performed to clean simple eating that does not tax the body systems, and then after the supporting the functions of the liver, kidney, and gutt, and even the skin. The four organs of detoxification are the liver, kidney, gutt and skin, and we try to support all of these during a period of detoxification. It typically does not include fasting or using any type of colonic therapy. While these may be helpful, it is not something I would normally recommend as the most optimal way to help support the body’s detoxification process. Posted by

Question: Does detoxification help alleviate the symptoms of disease. If so, what diseases would it help? Answer:
Yes. Detoxification is extremely healthy in any patient with a chronic disease. Detoxification can help kick-start a weight loss program with patients that are on a plateau because many toxins are stored in a fat tissue and without proper detoxification; the body does not want to release these toxins into the bloodstream. Additionally, patients with any chronic disease, but in particular, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn’s disease, etc. can benefit greatly from detoxification. Most of my patients have a significant improvement in their symptoms, feel better and have more energy, and cope better with their chronic disease. Posted by

Question: Is detoxification known to help with some chronic diseases? My daughter has Crohn’s disease and I would like to have her detoxify her body. She is 17 years old. Answer:
Yes, detoxification is extremely helpful for many chronic diseases, including Crohn’s disease, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis, etc. However, you have to detoxify in a very safe, and effective manner. I do not recommend an extensive fasting as a great means to detoxify. The best way to detoxify is to eat a simple, clean diet, such as rice, organic vegetables, olive oil, legumes, and at the same time use specialized nutritional supplements to support the function of the liver, kidneys, skin and gutt. These are the four organs of detoxification that are constantly detoxifying everything that our body encounters. Those are chronic diseases that are going to benefit especially from detoxification and I do recommend a safe detoxification for those patients. Being 17 years old, it would be important that she consume enough calories, be properly adequately hydrated and be followed by a physician during the detoxification process. Posted by

Question: If someone goes through the detoxification process, and adheres to the rules, do they usually notice a change in how they feel? Are there any medical conditions that would rule out detoxification? Answer:
If one goes through detoxification process and adheres to the program, almost all patients notice a significant improvement in energy and vitality. Especially patients with some chronic diseases such as fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, rheumatoid arthritis or any chronic medical condition usually benefit markedly from detoxifying the body. The definition of detoxification that I am referring to, is using supplements in shakes to really support liver, kidney and gutt function. During this time, which is usually a 28-day process, we have people eat a very clean, healthy diet, excusing some of the more common food allergens. In combination with this simple guide and good nutritional support, via the supplements, patients can achieve excellent detoxification and many symptoms of the diseases they have improve markedly. Detoxification is something for almost everyone, and everyone could improve on doing some detoxification of the body. If you are on several medications, have kidney or liver problems, it is probably best to check with your physician prior to starting any type of detoxification regimen. |
