Our Physicians

Anyone seeking aesthetic surgery of the face should be informed of their surgeons credentials.

Facial Plastic Surgeons Specialize in Performing Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery of the Face, Head, and Neck.

One reason American medical techniques are among the best in the world is the practice of specialization. Specialization of the face, head and neck assure the patient that the most experienced and well-trained physician is performing their surgery for that particular part of the body.

Certification Indicates Successful Completion of Advanced Training in this Area as well as Knowledge and Skill.

Facial Plastic Surgeons are board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology, the nation's second oldest medical examing board and one of 23 boards approved by the American Board of Medical Specialties. Many are also certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. This board, organized in 1986, qualifies, reviews and certifies surgeons who perform Facial and Reconstructive Surgery.

At Least Nine Years of Post-College Training is Required to be a Facial Plastic Surgeon.

This includes four years of medical school, one year of general surgery, and a minimum of four additional years of specialty training in head, neck and facial surgery. Fellowship-trained Facial Plastic Surgeons such as Dr. Williams have completed an additional year of advanced subspecialty training in an academic setting.
