NASAL HUMP

Some patients have a nose that they are dissatisfied with primarily due to a large nasal hump or bump. This is often seen in a profile examination or in photographs. The nasal hump often results from a combination of an overgrowth of the nasal bones and nasal cartilage in the lower aspect of the nose. The nasal hump can often be corrected without making any external incisions; rather it can be accomplished using an endonasal technique where the incisions are made internally.
