The Williams Center for Excellence was established in 1993 by cosmetic surgeon Dr. Edwin Williams to provide his patients with outstanding patient care. After practicing for several years at Albany Memorial hospital Dr. Edwin Williams realized he wanted to offer a better quality of care to his patients. Dr. Edwin Williams wanted to provide the undivided attention of highly trained registered nurses that specialized in cosmetic surgery to care for his patients. Dr. Edwin Williams and The Williams Center for Excellence staff strive to provide our patients with nothing less then Excellence.

Our practice is managed by Susan Sullivan. She is the director of plant and operations and has worked with Dr. Edwin Williams for 8 years ever since our practice was located in Albany Memorials Medical Arts building. She is responsible for the growth and development of the practice, Operating rooms and the maintenance of the building. Susan Sullivan is a Registered Nurse with additional national certification for operating room nurses. When you visit our office for a cosmetic consultation you will meet with Susan Sullivan R.N. C.N.O.R. she will provide you with a brief background of Dr. Edwin Williams credentials and educate you on the varied services we offer. She will obtain a brief history, speak to you about the procedure you are most interested in and offer computerized photo imaging. We believe in educating our patients. Our goal is to provide you with outstanding patient care because we feel anything less then excellence is unacceptable.
In addition to meeting with Dr. Edwin Williams and our practice manager Susan Sullivan you will also meet with Mary Ann Hunziker. Mary Ann is the patient care coordinator for The Williams Center for Excellence. As a patient care coordinator Mary Ann is considered to be the patients liaison. She is available to answer your questions prior to your surgical or non surgical procedure. Mary Ann has been working with Dr. Edwin Williams for ten years and our patients absolutely love her. They are well informed and will be able to assist you with scheduling of you consultation and obtain insurance approvals if applicable. Behind every great surgeon there are great nurses. At The Williams Center for Excellence we have a highly trained team of nurses that assist Dr. Edwin Williams within the office. Both Mary and Joann are licensed practical nurses (LPNs) with several years of experience in cosmetic plastic surgery.
