Candela's Pulse Dye Laser is attracted to red pigmentations in the skin, making it a great option for the treatment of facial Spider Veins, Rosacea and Poikiloderma (redness of the neck), Port Wine Stains, Hemangiomas and Angiomas, scarring, bruising, and even Warts.

The Pulse Dye Laser works by delivering an intense but gentle burst of light into selectivley targeted areas of the skin. Candela's dynamic cooling method, which delivers a cooling mist on the skin before the laser pulses, provides patients with added comfort, helps protect the skin, and minimizes side effects like redness. Factors such as age, color, location, and type of lesion will determine the settings used during treatment as each condition and each individual is unique.

Results as well as permancy of those results, will vary depending on the condition being treated and the number of treatments required for clearance. Most patients will notice results starting right away. It is recomended to avoid direct sun exopsure before and throughout treament to maximize results. Sunblock of SPF 30 or higher is to be worn daily during the treatment process.
