Alain Polynice, M.D. is a board certified plastic surgeon, certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Polynice completed his training in Plastic Surgery at the world renowned Mayo Clinic inRochester, Minnesota. Following his plastic surgery training, Dr. Alain Polynice completed a traveling fellowship throughout the United States, Australia, Asia, Europe and South America. Having learned advanced techniques during his travels, Dr. Alain Polynice brings to the Williams Center for Excellence cutting edge procedures in breast enhancement and body contouring.
Dr. Alain Polynice’s international background and training also give him a keen insight into the needs of patients across many cultural lines. Dr. Alain Polynice is fluent in both French and Spanish. Dr. Alain Polynice attended medical school at the Pontifical Catholic University in Santiago, one of only five such universities in the world ratified by the Vatican. Dr. Alain Polynice then completed his training in general surgery with an internship in Toulouse, France and residency training at North Shore UniversityHospital in Long Island New York. Dr. Alain Polynice then went on to do a specialized fellowship in burn care at the New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell medical Center in New York City. There he learned cutting edge techniques in managing burn victims and caring for burn scars. Dr. Alain Polynice was featured in Time Magazine’s “Heroes of Medicine” issue. Dr. Alain Polynice then went on to the Mayo Clinic to pursue advanced specialized training in plastic and reconstructive surgery. He is a faculty member of the American Society of plastic surgery and American Burn Association. Dr. Alain Polynice is assistant clinical professor of surgery at New York’s Medical College.
