This is a 51 year old male from Gansevoort, New York. He is a middle-aged professional who did not want to listen to people telling him he always looked tired. After extensive research he discovered Dr. Edwin Williams, The Face Specialist and met with him in his Latham, New York clinic. The patient underwent a procedure to remove the excess skin on his upper eyelids which we refer to as a Sliver Blepharoplasty. This was done in our office as an out-patient procedure under local anesthesia, similar what you receive when you go to the dentist. The patient said, that the procedure was extremely easy and he was thrilled with the patient care at the Williams Center. He is even more pleased with his natural results as he now looks naturally refreshed and rejuvenated. He was in the office for approximately 45 minutes and was able to drive himself home.

This 68 year old women decided to have a simple eyelid lift, the Sliver Blepharoplasty, which can be performed in an office setting.  The upper eyelid is first numbed with ice and then a novocaine type medication is used so that our patients feel no pain.  A paper-cut like incision is made in the back crease of the eyelid and then excess skin is removed.  This helps to make patients look brighter and younger.
