How do you keep them from looking unnatural?

I’m a 57 year-old man and I’ve been considering getting a facelift. Since the facial skin is repositioned, how does this affect the appearance of the sideburns? How do you keep them from looking unnatural?

Our facelift incision for a male patient is somewhat different than the female patient. So to answer your question, the sideburn is essentially unaffected based on how we place the incision. The incision in a male is typically placed in a natural wrinkle in front of the ear and is carried up under the sideburn area. In doing so in this manner, it will not affect the ability to grow a sideburn or require someone to change their hairstyle. This is primarily the main difference between having a facelift incision in a male and female look natural.
