Question:

I have 40-DD breasts that I will be getting reduced to a size C. After the breast reduction procedure, will I have stretch marks.

Answer:

If you have stretch marks now before the procedure, then it is possible that you would still have them after the procedure. The procedure itself does not cause or accelerate the presence of stretch marks but stretch marks that were there preoperatively will still remain however they are sometimes much less noticeable because the remaining breast tissue that is lifted and sculpted does attenuate the appearance of stretch marks.
