  • Medical Receptionist

    Medical Receptionist (Latham, NY)

    The Plastic Surgery Center at Williams is in search of an outgoing, friendly, and professional front desk receptionist with a positive attitude and a passion for the cosmetic/medical industry. The ideal candidate for this position is a “team player” with a strong customer service background and the ability to multi-task.

    Education And Requirements
    • High School Diploma
    • Previous customer service/receptionist experience
    • Excellent communication, phone and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work-load
    • Computer proficiency (MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint) knowledge of Patient Now a plus
    • Warm and friendly personality and the ability to work well with others
    • Great work ethic
    • Professional appearance and demeanor
    Responsibilities
      Answering a high volume of calls in a timely mannerGreeting/checking-in patientsScheduling/confirming appointmentsPrepping patient chartsDeposit preparationScanning, faxing, etc.Update patient demographics in the system

  • Medical Assistant

    Aesthetics Office

    Responsible for assisting providers as needed, with an ability to anticipate their needs and act proactively. Medical assistant is expected to be by provider’s side 99% of the time assisting them as needed, including proactively greeting patients, indicating to providers where to go next, to give the ability for providers to focus on patient treatment.

    *Hours subject to change based on Provider’s schedule

    Education And Requirements
    • Passion for aesthetics industry
    • Previous experience in a medical aesthetics office preferred but not required. We will train the right person.
    • Warm and friendly personality (ability to work well with others in a fun environment)
    • Ability to prioritize work load, with exceptional multi-tasking skills
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills
    • Enjoy working with people (excellent customer service required for this position and the ability to maintain poise in stressful situations)
    • Ability to work well with providers, anticipating their needs in regard to patient treatment and helping them to stay on time
    • Hard worker with the ability to multi-task
    • Empathetic with patient's needs and concerns
    Responsibilities
      Assist Providers with flow of patients -take patient from waiting area into the treatment room, set up treatment trays with all necessary items (ice, gauze, gloves, hibiclease, alcohol, distilled water) & clean the trays to get ready for the next patientTake photos (before and after), transfer pictures, print, pull up pictures on the TV monitorAssist providers with all procedures (including lasers unless otherwise specified)Be timely with numbing patients to facilitate being on schedule (please do not leave patient waiting in the waiting room for the provider to get them)Bring patient fee slip to the front desk after their treatment, turn over treatment room, make sure it is cleanRestock exam room supplies and help keep the office clean and neat (including laundry)Inform provider of any patient concerns (go over pre/post instructions)Clean instrumentsAssist providers in documenting in patient chart/fill-out treatment sheets as neededOrder supplies/check inventory put away, linen, creams, etc.Clean and stock treatment rooms daily and turn over after every patient, take the linens and garbage outPrioritize duties that center on patient care, supporting providers and staying on scheduleOrdering supplies, laundry and any other activities should occur during downtimes (last min cancellations, in between appointments etc.)Shared Activities: Open & close the office, book appointments, answer phone calls, sell creams, get cream transfers, make cream samples, help file charts, cleaningAssist Office Manager and Assistant Manager as neededRecord & Monitor Inventory: Cream inventory, filler inventory, injectable liquids inventory. Count these all dailyOther Duties: Performs other duties and assumes various responsibilities as determined by the manager
