This patient wanted to improve the tired look she had caused by a combination of loose skin and the loss of volume (fat) in her lower eyelid and midface area. She decided to have a plastic surgery procedure called a lower blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery). This patient also has festoons. They are seen in the 2nd area of pouching, triangular in shape, that usually lie around your cheek bone. "I only wish I had done this years ago. A small incision was made along the bottom eyelid and a small amount of skin was removed, the festoons were lifted and fat transfers were placed under her eyes. This patient is extremely happy with her results. Festoons are very difficult to fully correct. Our goal is to achieve a more rested look.

This patient had an Extended Weekend Lift along with Lipo transfer or Lipo sculpting (fat transfer) to her lower eyelids, midface and around her moth and jaw line. A small incision is made in the area of the belly button and a small amount of fat is removed. The fat is then artistically placed deep into the muscle to restore the volume lost during the aging process.

Small amounts of fat were removed through a tiny incision in the vicinity of the belly button and put into the deep muscle under the eye and through the cheek area. A lower eyelid cosmetic surgical procedure to remove some building fat was done at the same time. “The procedure was easy and absolutely painless. Everyone there was pleasant to work with. This patient was tired of looking tired. Eyelid surgery is one of the most common surgical procedures performed today. Excess skin and fat were removed and fat transfers were placed under the lower eyelids and along the mid-face (cheekbone). This helped to give her a softer rested appearance.

Volume loss combined with laxity of the skin shows increased signs of aging. This patient smoked for a number of years and we will often see patients look 10 to 15 years older as a result of this. Our lower eye lids are usually the first area that the signs of aging are seen. We sometimes look as though we have dark circles under our eyes. This is caused by a combination of things that occur as we age. Our skin looses its elasticity or stretch and we lose the volume in our face. After an incision was made right under her eyelashes of the lower eyelid a small amount of excess skin was removed. Fat transfers were placed in tiny droplettes deep within the muscle to fill in the hollow area under her eyes and along her cheekbone.

Aging of the eyelids really adds to our appearance of looking tired. An upper and lower lid Blepharoplasty along with fat transfer to the lower lids was performed.

This patient wanted to improve the lower 1/3 of her face which included her jowls and neck. While the weekend lift improves the jowls it does not affect the neck. Dr. Williams offered to this patient an extended weekend lift which not only addresses the jowls but also the neck. Not all patients are candidates for the extended weekend lift. This patient had a small amount of fat removed from the area of the belly button. Dr Williams then places it deep within the muscle following the natural structure of your face. Volume loss in the face is part of the natural aging process. In this patient, fat was placed in the lower eyelids, midface, along the jaw line and around the mouth. She also had an upper and lower lid Blepharoplasty. Both Upper and Lower eyelid surgical cosmetic procedure was performed to give this patient a more rested, younger and natural look. A tiny incision was made at the crease of the upper eyelid and just under her eyelashes on the lower lids to remove a small amount of skin. Fat transfer was also performed in the lower lid, midface areas.

This woman was concerned about the hollow appearance in the lower eyelid area and around her mouth. She was bothered by the amount of aging under her eyes. The small amount of fat is generally removed from the abdomen and artistically placed for a youthful appearance.

Part of the aging process is loss of volume or fat. It is important to replace that loss to achieve a rested look. Fat transfers can basically last for years; unfortunately, we continue to lose fat as we age. Looking at this patient’s results you can see the deep indented area under her eyes is filled in, softer appearing and her cheeks have more definition.
