Abdominoplasty: What Does it Involve?

A tummy tuck—medically referred to as abdominoplasty—is a surgical body contouring procedure designed to remove excess skin and stubborn fat while tightening the abdominal muscles. It’s not a weight loss solution, but rather an aesthetic enhancement that targets loose or hanging skin often left behind after pregnancy or significant weight fluctuations.

At the Williams Center, we offer several types of tummy tuck procedures to best fit your anatomy and goals:

  • Mini Tummy Tuck
  • Full Tummy Tuck
  • Floating Abdominoplasty (FAP)
  • R.E.A.L. Tummy Tuck (Reverse Eversion Abdominoplasty)

Am I a Good Candidate for a Tummy Tuck?

You may be a good candidate for a tummy tuck if:

  • You are in good overall health and at or near your ideal weight.
  • You have excess abdominal skin, stubborn fat, or muscle laxity from pregnancy or weight changes.
  • You are not planning a future pregnancy (as this may affect results).
  • You are a non-smoker and can maintain a stable weight post-surgery.

Our team will guide you through a thorough consultation to determine which technique is right for you.

Tummy Tuck Cost in Binghamton, NY
