Question:

I have wanted bigger breasts for as long as I can remember and now I am ready to take the plunge. However, I am not sure how many days off work I should take post surgery. When will I be comfortable enough to return to work?

Answer:

Typically patient’s undergoing breast augmentation surgery should anticipate a two week period after surgery where they should not be doing any kind of heavy lifting or strenuous effort. However, most people are able to return to work and to their normal activities within seven days but things like going to the gym, working out or lifting heavy weights, should wait until about four weeks postop.
