This is a 60 year old female from Albany, New York.   After research this patient came to meet with Dr. Edwin Williams, The Face Specialist, in his Latham, New York practice.  Her main concern was that she felt she looked older than her stated age.  This patient had Brow and Mid-Facelift that shows improvement around the eyes, lifting the hooding or heaviness on the upper brow; giving definition to the cheeks and lastly, improves the jawline.  As a result you can see a brighter appearance around the eyes, cheeks and the shape of the jawline  and softening of lines. This procedure is performed with small hidden incisions within the hair line. This patient also had Upper and Lower Eyelid Blepharoplasty and Fat Grafting to the mid-face.

Blepharoplasty is a facial plastic surgery procedure to remove excess fat, skin, and muscle from the upper and/or lower eyelids. Our Blepharoplasty Gallery showcases our patients looking more refreshed & youthful than before

The results of blepharoplasty are eyes and eyelids that are no longer droopy, wrinkled, or puffy.

Eyelid surgery may be performed on the upper eyelids, the lower eyelids, or both.

At the Plastic Surgery Center at Williams, Dr. Edwin Williams performs the “sliver technique” on the eyelids. This removes loose, excess skin which can make someone look like they are aged and constantly tired.

This is an office procedure that can be performed under local anesthesia and does not require extensive recovery. Work and most normal activities can be resumed after a week to ten days.
