One of the most asked questions about plastic surgery is, “How much does the surgery cost?”

When it comes to mommy makeover plastic surgery, this procedure can cost anywhere from $10,000 to $20,000.

The term “mommy makeover” has become very popular to describe different plastic surgery procedures that women undergo to return to their pre-baby bodies.

Pregnancy and childbirth can certainly take its toll on a woman’s body, especially after multiple pregnancies, giving birth to twins, or after breast feeding.

A mommy makeover is a great way to restore a woman’s body — and her confidence.

How Much Does Mommy Makeover Cost?

Mommy makeover surgery is not a one-size-fits-all procedure. The procedure can be tailored to the unique needs of each person.

A mommy makeover is usually a combination of an abdominal surgery with breast surgery. But it can sometimes include operations on the arms, thighs, or buttocks.

Each woman has their own needs and desired results, making it difficult to put a general price tag on a mommy makeover.

But there are fees that will be constant during any surgery as well as fees, like cost of implants, that will be added depending on the procedures done during surgery.

Cost Breakdown

When calculating the overall cost of a mommy makeover, the following fees need to be considered:

Surgeon’s Fee

For a mommy makeover, the surgeon’s fee is around $6,000 to $15,000.

The surgeon’s fee accounts for the surgeon’s time. The cost is calculated based on the surgeon’s expertise and specialty.

This fee also supports the practice, surgical staff, and employees.

Operating Room Fee

Our operating room fees for mommy makeover surgery ranges from $1,200 to $2,500. For over 20 years, The Williams Center has had its own ambulatory surgery center with staff that specialize in performing plastic surgery. This amount of knowledge and expertise contributes to a great patient experience and affordable fees.

Since we have our own in-house AAAHC (Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care) accredited surgery center, our staff is comprised of highly trained nurses, PA’s, techs and doctors within the specialty of plastic surgery. Another benefit of having our own operating room suites, is that we are able to keep our operating room fees low.

The operating room (OR) fee during mommy makeover surgery includes the cost of using the OR, OR staff, equipment, and supplies that are used.

The operating room fee also covers the use of sterile and disposable supplies, sutures, medications, dressings, etc.

Anesthesia Fees

Our anesthesia fees range from $750 to $1,400.

During mommy makeover surgery, medications are administered to ensure comfort and a pain-free surgery.

Typically, our patients undergo either intravenous sedation or general anesthesia.

Anesthesia options will be discussed during your initial plastic surgery consultation. During the consultation each option will be explained and Dr. Lloreda will recommend the best choice for you and the procedure.

Additional Surgery Fees

Depending on the procedures that are included in your mommy makeover, here are some possible added costs:

  1. Cost of implants
  2. Cost of post-surgical garments
  3. Prescriptions
  4. Pain pump

Procedures Involved in a Mommy Makeover

The exact combination of procedures included in a mommy makeover can vary widely from one surgeon to another, but typical packages may include a combination of the following main procedures:

Tummy Tuck

During mommy makeover surgery, tummy tuck surgery can shape and sculpt the tummy in addition to reconstructing the abdominal wall.

Tummy tuck surgery can also get rid of excess skin and stretch marks after pregnancy.

Liposuction

Liposuction can be used to contour the back, bra line, and flanks. Liposuction in conjunction with a tummy tuck is known as 360 sculpting.

Breast Augmentation & Lift

Breast procedures are very common during mommy makeover surgery.

Breast augmentation surgery can be necessary during a mommy makeover procedure because women can lose volume after pregnancy and breast feeding.

A breast lift (mastopexy) can correct drooping and excess breast skin.

For women who suffer from sagging skin on the breasts as well as a loss of volume, a breast augmentation with lift is the perfect remedy.

Breast Reduction

Pregnancy and childbirth dramatically change the shape and size of women’s breasts.

After delivery, the breasts will remain large as they continue to produce breast milk. Some women’s breasts return to their original size and shape after they stop producing breast milk, but others remain larger or lose some of their elasticity.

Breast reduction can return your breasts to the same size and volume they were before childbirth.

Brazilian Butt Lift

During a mommy makeover, it’s very common to perform fat transfer to the buttocks with a Brazilian butt lift.

The fat that is obtained with liposuction surgery can be used to contour the buttocks, adding shape and volume.

So, How Much Does Mommy Makeover Surgery Really Cost?

After taking these cost factors into consideration, a mommy makeover can cost anywhere from $10,000 to $20,000.

This is a very wide range because no two mommy makeover surgeries are truly the same. The procedures are always individually customized to ensure our patients get the treatment they want and deserve.
