This patient came into the office to see Dr. Williams for an opinion on her eyelids. Just one month ago, he performed an upper and lower eyelid blepharoplasty.

This beautiful patient decided to get her facelift before her 56th birthday! She was bothered by the signs of aging, specifically in her midface and jawline area. Along with this procedure she underwent an upper blepharoplasty to rejuvenate her eyes. This patient is a 55 year old women from Albany, NY. This is a patient who had a lift by Dr. Williams almost 20 years ago, but she came back for an additional browlift and it was recommended that she have an upper and lower eyelid blepharoplasty with fat grafting as well as a lower mid-face lift. She is here 1 year after the procedure and is extremely pleased with the results and has even stated jokingly that now she has “younger men hitting on her!”. This patient was once again extremely pleased with her experience here at the William Center but even more so with the very natural results that highlighted her eyes and natural beauty.

This is a patient who saw Dr. Williams, The Face Specialist, at his Latham, New York clinic in consultation not only for her eyes but her face.  Her main concern with her eyes was she felt she was beginning to look aged.  She was undergoing surgery for a Chemical Peel (35% Trichloracetic Acid Peel) and a Lower Facelift to address her jaw line and wrinkling, but that wouldn't help her eyes. Her primary concern for her eye area was the heaviness of her upper eyelids along with the volume loss and puffiness of her lower lids.  She underwent a scarless approach, commonly known as a Transconjunctival Lower Eyelid Blepharoplasty in conjunction with a Sliver Upper Eyelid Blepharoplasty and Fat grafting to sculpt the mid-face.  Here she is shown at 1 year with a natural result and is thrilled with the outcome.  She was willing to share her before and after photographs.

This patient decided to see Dr. Edwin Williams in consultation at this Latham, New York office to discuss the appearance of her lower eyelids.  During her examination, he pointed out a few things in the area of her mid-face and lower eyes.  She has puffiness and a tired look as a result of volume loss at the orbital rim and upper face, but also had shadowing that comes down obliquely that radiates to the medial canthus to the mid part of the cheek.  Dr. Williams performed the scarless apporach to the lower eyelids to take out some of the fatty tissue but also sculpted the mid-face and orbital rim area with her own fat with a procedure called Fat Grafting.  Check out Dr. Williams famous YouTube videos of this patient shown many months after her surgery and how she has a more youthful triangle face without the tired drawn out look that she use to have.  Recent articles are saying the fifties of today are like the thirties of yesterday. This is a middle-aged gentleman who was tired of co-workers asking him if he was tired all of the time. He had excess skin on the upper eyes with bags and puffiness on upper and lower eyelids. He also had excess skin and wrinkling with volumetric loss in the mid-face. This gentleman underwent a Upper and Lower Blepharoplasty where by Dr. Williams performed removal of fat from the most central pockets of his upper eyes with skin excess removed incision placed in the super torso crease. The lower eyelid creased he used a transconjunctival lower eyelid approach with a sliver technique as well as fat grafting of the upper eyelids to achieve a more youthful natural contour of the midface.
