This young lady saw Dr. Williams to consider rhinoplasty. She was having more and more difficulty breathing through her nose but also did not like the fact that her nose appeared large on her face. She wanted to be left with a strong and very natural nose but wanted to also be able to breathe better. She felt her nose was slightly pinched in the middle but that it also had somewhat of a bulbous tip. In discussing this with Dr. Williams, he recommended the closed rhinoplasty procedure to give her some refinement in her tip and balance the middle part of her nose. This would make her nose look straighter and softer on the front view. She also achieved a very nice profile alignment with less projection and dorsal bump corrected at the same time. She is shown here several months out and is very pleased with the decision that she made to have the rhinoplasty at the same time as she had the deviated septum.

This young man had always been self-conscious of his nose. He is now a junior at Boston College in Finance, having finally picked a major. He is also an athlete who is swimming in college who took the down time during Covid to finally have his Rhinoplasty. He did extensive research and wanted the closed or scar less technique. He saw Dr. Williams who performed his surgery. He had what many would describe as an over projected nose with dorsal convexity and an anterior sloping upper lip which made his nose look considerably large for his facial features. He is thrilled with his result and wishes that he had done it sooner. He is now back at Boston College to start the new semester.

This patient complains of difficulty breathing through her nose and has a nasal deformity as a result of domestic violence. The patient had a previous attempt at repair by another surgeon prior to seeing Dr. Williams. Her nose is crooked and deviated to her right side, as a result of fractured nasal bones. Notice the straightening of the nose and the stronger appearance after nasal reconstructive surgery. Also notice the nostrils are less visible on the frontal view.

This patient is a 26 year old female from Troy, New York. This is a patient who desired a Rhinoplasty. She had a nose that made her feel less feminie with a bump and a hanging columella. She also had an hour-glass confiuration on the frontal view, giving her somewhat of a more masculine nose. As you can see, the nose starts narrow and becomes wide in the tip area. Following the Rhinoplasty surgery, you can see that she has the width that is consistent from the top to the bottom of the nose, looks less harsh and is much more feminie and esthetically pleasing. This can be followed on the profile view, as her columella has been lifted slightly leaving her with a strong esthetically pleasing feminine dorsum. This patient came to see Dr. Williams in his Latham, New York office which is a suburb outside of Albany, New York and loves her results.

This patient is a 28 year old male from Troy, New York. This is a young man who had a Rhinoplasty perfomed by another surgeon in the Albany, New York area and was not happy with his results. He was not only left with an extremely crooked nose but also the inability to breath. He had a second surgery by the same surgeon and was left feeling very discouraged. After extensive research, he found Dr. Edwin Williams, an International Rhinoplasty Specialist who happened to have his main practice located in Latham, New York, a suburb of Albany, New York and serves Saratoga, Syracuse, Rochester, Upstate New York and the entire New England area. This is a 42 year old female from Ravena, NY close to our Albany, NY location. This is a young woman who was very unhappy with the appearance of her nose on profile examination. Not only did she have a bump she had a somewhat bulbous tip and a hanging columella. This is manifested by the patient having what appears to have a very wide nostril when indeed it is a dependent intermediate lower lateral cartilage crux. She underwent Rhinoplasty through an endonasal (closed approach) whereby the profile was addressed as well as the nostril base. As you can see on this profile examination she has a nose that fits her face and is aesthetically much more pleasing.

This is a 30-year-old young woman from Cairo, New York. This patient has always been bothered by the appearance of her nose. She states that she has a weak chin as well and knew that did not help. She pointed out the subtle bump on her nose, the drooping that she had in the area of her tip, and a hanging columella, as well as her weak chin. She also had a little fullness under the neck and underwent the “scarless” endonasal Rhinoplasty approach by Dr. Williams as well as a conservative Facial Liposuction and Chin Augmentation. If one observes the oblique and profile views, the subtlety of this can be seen and the results are extremely natural. This patient was very pleased since her primary concern was to leave her looking natural and not “overdone”. She is glad she also decided to have the chin augmentation which gave her a more balanced overall result.

This is a 58 year old female who traveled to our Albany, NY location from Durham, NC. Dr. Williams preformed a revision rhinoplasty on this woman after having had rhinoplasty 18 years ago by another physician. She was unhappy with the appearance of her nose. It was weak and poorly defined. Dr. Williams performed rib and ear cartilage grafting to rebuild and reshape her nose. She is now extremely happy with her result. The revision cosmetic rhinoplasty gave this patient a strong, straight well defined profile. Notice the tip position that this patient has and the nostril is also less notched. The base of the nose width and height are now more symmetric and the nostrils are not as wide. The tip is sharper and more projected. This patient is a 35 year old male from Johnstown, New York. This is a gentleman who had a septal perforation with nasal obstruction and some loss of support of the middle aspect of his nose. As you can see from his side view he has a deformity that we would call a low bridge or saddle nose type deformity. Because of the lack of cartilage in his nose as a result of his previous traumatic injury, this required rebuilding the nose with ear cartilage. After meeting with Dr. Edwin Williams, in his Latham, New York clinic he underwent a Revision Rhinoplasty. As you can see from the front views, the side views and the angled views, he has a strong male nose and a much more natural, aesthetically pleasing profile. This can also be seen on his frontal view as you can see the area between his eyes appear somewhat low and washed out from the loss of support in that area.
