This patient is a delightful college junior is studying biology. She had rhinoplasty approximately 3 years ago because she could not breathe out of her nose and she did not like the fact that her nose was crooked and she had somewhat of a bulbous tip. Another goal for this patient was she wanted to be able to breathe out of both nostrils when she had particular difficulty out of the left side. She wanted a closed approach and after doing her research saw Dr. Williams in consultation.

This sweet energetic patient is 4 months out from a revision rhinoplasty. She had her nose done in 2011 and is not happy with the appearance nor is she having a defect that she could not breathe any longer. In doing her research she had consultations with several other surgeons 1 of who recommended revisiting with rib cartilage hip cartilage is normal. She teaches spin class and is a manager in the court system is Oneida County. She is extremely busy but got to the point where she could not breathe any longer and decided to do more research and have a consultation. She underwent revision rhinoplasty grafting approximately 4 months ago we could be happy with the results. She is thrilled that she can now breathe but also really just wanted to rebalance the tip and this can be seen when comparing the tip to supratip contour on her profile view. She wanted to share her photos and story with others who might consider seeing Dr. Williams

This is a patient who had always been bothered by her nose. She felt that her nose was big and did not really fit the proportion of her face. She has been self conscious for many, many years, and decided to seek an opinion. She wanted a closed, scarless, endonasal approach so she visited Dr. Williams and had a consultation as he is a specialist in this area. During the consultation, imaging was used to help the patient get an approximation of what she could expect. She was very pleased at her one month visit to see that her nose fits her face perfectly even though she knew it was a bit swollen. Now, she is a few months out and feels so much more confident and states what she likes most is that her nose looks extremely natural and no one would know that she had a rhinoplasty as that was her primary goal to have her nose blend in with her face.

This is a patient who was initially seen for recurrent sinus infections and breathing difficulty. She also desired a subtle change in her nose. Her nose was crooked and off to her right side with some contour irregularities that could be easily seen on frontal view. The profile view revealed some notching of her nostril and what is commonly referred to as a ‘subtle polly-beak deformity’. This patient underwent nasal reconstruction for the breathing issue associated with her deviated nasal septum as well as a subtle rhinoplasty. On the profile view one can see a very subtle improvement with realignment of the profile of the nose and subtle correction of the nostril notching. On the angle view there is a very subtle but definite improvement in the profile and nostril orientation resulting in her nose appearing somewhat more balanced against the remainder of her facial features. The frontal view also shows a much more symmetrically aligned nose that is straight. This was performed using an endonasal or closed approach resulting in less recovery and healing.
