This young lady was an athlete in high school, playing basketball for her whole high school career. She had broken her nose, but was also having difficulty breathing and was self conscious about the bump and the fact that it looked crooked. When she saw Dr. Williams initially in her consultation, he encouraged her her to wait until she was done with her athletic career, at which time she came back and underwent a rhinoplasty using the closed, or endonasal, approach to straighten the nose and address the bump. She sent Dr. Williams a picture of her with the splint on her nose over the weekend, as she was so excited to finally have this procedure performed. Her nose looks much more in alignment. She is able to breathe and she is no longer self-conscious of the small but noticeable bump that bothered her for many years. She wanted to share these photos with anyone considering rhinoplasty.

This is a teenage patient from Clifton Park, New York who has always had difficulty breathing through her nose. She had disliked her nose as it was very crooked, as well as had a bump and a hanging columella. This patient told Dr. Williams she was always very bothered by her nose. She felt extremely comfortable with him in the consultation which included computerized imaging and a lengthy discussion about the Rhinoplasty experience and post-operative period. This is a 24 year old Veterinary technician who presented with the problem of difficulty breathing and was unhappy with the appearance of her nose. She underwent Rhinoplasty for her nose that is somewhat crooked and a nose that would be described with a tip that is turned up or more often described as a short nose. She underwent Rhinoplasty here and she has a very nice profile and as one can see on her face or frontal view demonstrates how the nose was appropriately lengthened by using septal cartilage bilateral spreader grafting to make her nose blend and fit into her face more.

This sweet lady appeared in my office to talk to me about having the weekend face lift. She didn’t want a big facelift or general anesthesia. She really wanted to address the saggy jowels but was less concerned about what she referred to as her “turkey neck”. We talked about her goals and concerns and talked about the weekend facelift under local anesthesia. This is a modified lift that some refer to as a mini-lift. Her outcome was extraordinary, given this procedure, as she actually saw a lot more improvement in the neck area than either of us expected. Her marionet lines were improved and she feels that she looks much better. I am so happy for her as this has clearly made a big difference in how she feels about herself given the conversation that we had. She is so happy that she decided to have this procedure done as her downtime was minimal and she was able to out in public in less than a week. I am so grateful that she trusted me and I am so happy for her.

This patient complains of difficulty breathing through her nose and has a nasal deformity as a result of domestic violence. The patient had a previous attempt at repair by another surgeon prior to seeing Dr. Williams. Her nose is crooked and deviated to her right side, as a result of fractured nasal bones. Notice the straightening of the nose and the stronger appearance after nasal reconstructive surgery. Also notice the nostrils are less visible on the frontal view.

This patient is a 26 year old female from Troy, New York. This is a patient who desired a Rhinoplasty. She had a nose that made her feel less feminie with a bump and a hanging columella. She also had an hour-glass confiuration on the frontal view, giving her somewhat of a more masculine nose. As you can see, the nose starts narrow and becomes wide in the tip area. Following the Rhinoplasty surgery, you can see that she has the width that is consistent from the top to the bottom of the nose, looks less harsh and is much more feminie and esthetically pleasing. This can be followed on the profile view, as her columella has been lifted slightly leaving her with a strong esthetically pleasing feminine dorsum. This patient came to see Dr. Williams in his Latham, New York office which is a suburb outside of Albany, New York and loves her results.

Unlike many large nose rhinoplasty patients, this woman wanted to make only subtle changes to the look of her nose from the front. These "after" photos reveal that Dr. Edwin Williams sculpted her lower lateral cartilages, giving her nasal tip a more delicate and smoother shape.

This gentleman has always felt that his eyes were the best feature of his face. It Is somewhat genetic that he developed bags, puffiness and excess skin on his upper eyelids. He states that he looks like his father so with the support and encouragement of his wife, he decided to have an upper and lower lid blepharoplasty performed by Dr. Williams. This patient is a Facelift patient of Dr. Williams. Volume loss is very common in the face as we age. This patient had full face fat transfers along with a facelift (weekend/necklift) and carbondioxide laser treatments.

The base view shows the pre-operative presentation of the nasal septum into the patient’s right nostril not only causing a crooked appearance but obstructing breathing. It also shows once again the tight overly long appearance of the nose. Following surgery the nose is now straight and reduced in size with a pleasing triangular configuration.
