Question:
I’ve heard that some people experience excessive scarring with mini facelift procedures. Is this true and how can this be prevented?
Answer:
I suppose it is possible in the hands of an inexperienced surgeon. However, the incision is actually quite small and is hidden in a natural crease behind the ear. Good technique and deeper tissue suspension should essentially prevent the possibility of excessive scarring.
